Opening of Galway plant

Illustrated talk on Galway’s Digital Heritage

Join Brendan Smith, curator of the Computer and Communications Museum of Ireland at NUI Galway, as he looks at the city’s proud technology heritage whilst providing a fascinating insight into some of the more iconic IT equipment used and sometimes produced in Galway over the last five decades.

When: Saturday 24 February 2018, 2.30-3.30pm

Monthly coffee mornings

An informal coffee morning for former Digital employees takes place in the Hunstman Inn between 11.30 am and 1.30 pm on the first Thursday of every month. All are welcome.

Memorabilia Project

HP in Galway have initiated a Memorabilia Project to create an archive of materials relating to Digital in general and Digital Galway in particular. If you have anything you would like to donate – for example, hardware, manuals, marketing collateral, or photographs – please contact Alma.Shawfoo@hp.com.

Next event

Many of the people who attended the Gathering event, and many who were unable to attend, have asked about the possibility of another event being planned. There are no firm plans at the moment but if you’d like to be kept informed, please contact us and we’ll add you to our mailing list.
